We've been having some trouble with our little kitten Rio. We noticed a couple of weeks ago that Rio was limping on him left hind leg. I was worried about it, and decided to play it safe and take him to the vet. The vet said that he had probably just strained a muscle or ligament - or he may have been bitten.
The vet said to keep an eye on it, gave us some medication and said to bring him back in a week. It slowly got worse over the week - and it turned out that he had torn a ligament in his knee completely. He needed surgery to correct it - he's had it done and he's recovering really well.

It was a stressful time - I was worried that something may go wrong during the surgery - and I was worried he may hurt himself after it. But he's doing well now - it's been a week and the wound has sealed up really well.

We went to see Terminator Salvation today - it was excellent! I won't spoil it for anyone - I recommend you go see it! Good old Christian Bale! *swoon!!*

I'm in the middle of making my cuffs and gauntlets for my next Power Ranger costume! It's going well - I'll post up pictures when they are done.
